- The project comprises a total area of 191.27 ha, with a total length of 49,149 m of sewage pipes, and 3,630 drainage facilities. Works included the complete rehabilitation of the sewage pipes, and will result in the improvement of the operating efficiency of Goesan and Cheongcheon sewage treatment facilities, reduction of infiltration/inflow (I/I), improvement of ground water quality, vitalization of the regional economy in Goesan County, and efficient maintenance by using a comprehensive monitoring system. - Using private financing for the project will allow Goesan County to improve its environment, while maximizing the benefits, and reducing stress on the public budget.
