[Pre-Feasibility Re-Investigation for Detailed Design of 11 National Roads]

Among the 14 national roads not included in the priority list of the second stage of the 5 year plan for national roads and national-aid roads, 3 have already received pre-feasibility studies. This project comprised of engineering and cost investigation for 6 of the unstudied 11 roads. Of these 6 roads, one was located in Gyeonggi Province, the remaining 5 in Gyeongnam Province.
As a feasibility investigation has been carried out as part of the detailed design for these roads, instead of establishing new proposals, the feasibility reports included in the detailed designs was used for analysis. With the technical skill and experience Sambo Engineering has accumulated through its work on private financing project and pre-feasibility studies, route selection was improved, and construction costs reduced through engineering investigation. After the works were completed the Benefit/Cost (B/C) ration for each of the project routes was over the value of 1.00.
