Sambo Engineering participated in the Master Traffic Plan and new transportation system feasibility study for the Incheon Free Economic Zone, which aims to become a central business hub in North-East Asia. This aim can be furthered by the construction of a new, environmentally-friendly transportation system, such as light rail transit (LRT)
The tasks included study of the characteristics of Sondo International New Town, Yeongjong and Cheongna Areas, route characteristics, transportation demand, as well as selection of route and systems, construction and operation plan, and economic analysis.
