Pre-Feasibility Study for New Ansan Line Double Track Construction (Ansan - Cheongnyangni)

This project line (Ansan - Gwangmyeong - Cheongnyangni) forms a part of the Seoul Metropolitan Area's southern railway network, with the other part provided by the Sinbundang Line (Bundang - Gangnam - Yongsan). Together they will provide traffic diversion and balanced regional development.
The route of the New Ansan (Sinansan) Line travels from Ansan, south-west from Seoul, through Siheung, Gwangmyeong cities, to Geumcheon, Yeongdeungpo, Yeouido, Cheonggyecheon, Cheongnyangni stations in Seoul. It will connect Ansan and Seoul's satellite cities to the areas north of the Han River, as well as Jungang and Gyeongchun Lines, and decrease travel distance and times considerably.
