Pre-Feasibility Study for Chungju - Mungyeong Railway Construction Project

This pre-feasibility study concentrated on the construction of 39.0km of new railway between Chungju City in Chungcheongbuk Province and Mungyeong City in Gyeongsangbuk Province. It connects to Seongnam - Yeoju double track railway (construction completed in 2005) and Yeoju - Chungju double track railway (pre-feasibility study carried out in 2002). The project has a lot of popular support in the project region.
