Pre-Feasibility Study for Construction of Taean - Boryeong National Road

This pre-feasibility study was carried out in cooperation with Korea Transport Institute, and the section is located between Yeongmok Port in Taean County and Daecheon Port in Boryeong City, Chungcheongnam Province. The study compared the construction of a two route proposals. Analysis showed economic feasibility to be highest if the road was built as a 2 lane road.
Societal feasibility analysis looked carefully at the need for the project and the construction effects, and identified several environmental issues, such as pollution of the ocean and damage to the ecosystem, which require a careful investigation.
