Pre-Feasibility Study for Construction of Two Double Tracks on Jungang Line

With a double track widening of the Jungang and Gyeongchun Lines, the Cheonngnyangni - Mangu section, which is shared between the two lines, could find its capacity insufficient. To mitigate this problem, the project to widen the section to two double track lines needs to be promoted.
The project will strengthen the east-west transportation routes, provide increased travel convenience, and reduce transportation costs.
