¡ÜThe project included the estimation of scale of investment and determination of priorities to be used as basis for execution of an economic feasibility study of implementation of the National Traffic Network Plan for the 2010-2014 5-year period. Feasibility of the project costs was investigated, costs for a new project calculated, and technological investigation on the newly proposed routes was executed.
¡ÜFor the technological investigation, facilities were divided between national and regional traffic facilities. National traffic facilities included expressways, national roads, important national road bypasses, regional supporting roads, railways (excluding urban rail transit), airports, overseas trade ports, multi-modal logistics terminals, etc. Regional traffic facilities included regional roads (metropolitan roads, regional roads, urban roads and rural roads), urban rail transit, domestic trade ports, regional ports, freight terminals, etc.
