[ Feasibility Study for Linking Honam High-Speed Railway with Muan Airport ]

¡Ü The feasibility study area the project of linking the Honam High-Speed Railway (KTX) with Muan Airport was along the Gwangju Metropolitan City - Muan International Airport - Mokpo City railway. The scope included 65.43km of railway track, with 10.98km of new earthworks, 35.60km of new bridges, 16.05km of new tunnels, and 2 train depots.
¡Ü The project is based on the Korean government strategy of economic development of the Jeollanam Province, and increase utilization of the Muan Airport, and contributed vital input to the formulation of policies regarding the stage 2 of the Hona High-Speed Railway development project.
