Korea Railway Corporation has performed Seongnam~Yeoju Double Track Railway Project in order to make effect to decentralize population of downtown in metropolitan and solve wide range of traffic difficulties between seoul and around seoul due to rapid development

The route of this project is 53.8km and pass Seongnam, Gwangju, Icheon, Yeoju. So, it is to provide traffic convenience for local residents and their opinion is reflected to this service through brief of project.

Implementation is classified to technical and academic part. Technical part is charged by Sambo Engineering co., Ltd. and academic part is charged by Engineering Institute in Seoul National Univ.
