Detailed Design for Jeungyak~Okcheon section of Gyeongbu Highway Widening to 6lanes

¡Û Korean government has been establishing highway network with long-term plan since 1990. Especially, Gyeongbu highway has charged on arterial function connect between metropolitan and Yeongnam district. However, due to increasing of traffic demand, congestion is deepening. so that, time is reached to establish countermeasure to cope with such situation.

¡Û One of that countermeasure is to widen existing Gyeongbu highway from 4 lanes to 6 lanes, or to 8 lanes. So, Seoul~Cheongwon section is finished already to widen to 6~8 lanes, Cheongwon~ Jeungyak section is under construction.

¡Û The section of improvement charged by Sambo Engineering is 5.82km and beginning section,1km, of entire design section is widening section, from existing 4 lanes. And main structures are Seosan tunnel,365m, Okcheon IC and 7 bridges.
