05.07.05~06.01.23/Dongbu Construction
Hanrim~Saengrim Road, a sub-arterial road linking Yeongnam and Honam provinces, has its starting point connecting with Provincial Road No. 60, and performs the function of linking the towns in the eastern Gyeongnam Province. The ending point connects with National Road No. 58 (Gimhae~Saengrim~Samrangjin) and is planned to be performed the function of a bypass road, thereby contributing to regional economy.
In this project, total length is 14,342m with a width of 20m (4 lanes), and there are 13 bridges (L=1,315m), 3 tunnels (L=2,498m), and 5 ICs.
In the case of Hwapo Bridge, it is designed to be used for tourism resource as landmark of the area, and is designed with a steel cable-stayed type+steel super plate type. The type was selected to minimize the number of required piers in order to improve to biological conservation, as the area is on the migratory route of several bird species.
In case of Jucheon Bridge, it is a Twin Arch type supported by cable for symbolization of dual rainbow, signifying harmony and prosperity, at the border between Gimhae and Changwon cities.
In order to design environmentally-friendly structures, the section passing through the protected wetlands of the Hwapo stream are designed using the Environmental Matrix Index (EMI) to minimize pollution of wetland areas.
Jangnae tunnel was designed to minimize environmental pollution by using an acid-proof structure in the sections where drainage is expected to contain acidic water. This was done in order to design an environmentally-friendly tunnel.
