[Bid Design for 4 Lane Widening of Yangsan - Dongmyeon Road (Provincial Road No. 60)]

The project for the widening of the Yangsan - Dongmyeon section of the National Support Provincial Road No. 60, connecting National Roads No. 35 and 7, aims to alleviate the traffic congestion in the northern part of Busan region, and to reduce transportation costs.

Main components of the bid design included the detailed design for the long Beobgi Tunnel. Extra-dosed bridge type was selected for the Myeonggog Bridge. Other bridges types in the bid design were enhanced PSD beam, concrete arch, and reinforced Rahmen bridge. Advanced techniques were selected for tunnel design as well.
