[Design/Construction Package of Seongnam - Janghowon Road]

The Seongnam - Janghowon section of the existing National Road, connecting the capital and Gyeonggi province areas with the south-eastern Korea, has long acted as a backbone for the development of the region. Congestion on the route has worsened, requiring construction of a new road. The newly opened section has a design speed of 100 km/h. Expected impacts are alleviation of traffic congestion, reduction of transportation costs, and improving connections with the road network of the Seoul capital area. Sambo Engineering implemented the design for 6.22 km of the section. This part included an extra-dosed bridge built with FCM+FSM construction method.
