[Private Financing Proposal for Double Track Extension of Sinbundang Line (Jeongja - Gwanggyo)]

- Total length for the double track extension of the Sinbundag Line was 12.8 km, connecting Jeongja Neighborhood in Seongnam and Iui Neighborhood in Suwon. The aim of this privately financed project aim was to help solve the traffic problems on the roads entering Seoul from Yongin and Suwon, as well as support the traffic infrastructure of the new town development in Gwanggyo.

- Main works along the route were 1.9 km of excavation works, 9.4 km of tunnels, 6 depots and one yard, which was designed with consideration for construction and operation of future expansion of the Sinbundang Line (Yongsan - Gangnam, and Gwanggyo - Homaesil).
