[Modified Proposal and Detailed Design for Privately Funded Hwado - Yangpyeong Expressway]

 The project aims to provide a connection between the Yeoju - Yangpyeong (construction completes in 2011) and Seoul - Chuncheon (construction completes in 2009) Expressways. It will divert traffic from the road networks on Jungbu and 2nd Jungpu Expressways, as well as National Road No. 6, and strengthen the network connecting Yangpyeong, Yeoju and Namyangju cities with the Seoul Metropolitan area.
 The total length of the project road is 19 km, with 21 bridges (total length 2,165 m), 4 tunnels (total length 5,640 m), and 1 junction. The design speed is 100 km/h, and the road width is 23.4 m (4 lanes each direction).
