Feasibility Study for Bucheon LRT

 This project was first proposed in the "Transportation Master PLan for Bucheon", in 1993. It was later established in 1997 in the "Master Plan for Construction and Operation of LRT in Bucheon", and the Korea Development Institute carried out a pre-feasibility study for a privately funded LRT system in Bucheon in 2002.
 The existing Buchein Inner Bypass and north-south routes were re-reviewed, passenger movement was studies, and connection to Hwagog Station in Seoul was reviewed. Transportation demand forecast, selection of alternative route, train operation and route plan were established. Construction and operation costs were calculated, and economic and financial feasibility for the privately funded project were reviewed.
